1st December was the auction day for the Tsuen Wan Lunar New Year fair, Green Sense sent representatives to explain the "Green Stall Label Programme" and encourage stall operators to participate.
Stall operators who pledge to carry out a series of the green measures will receive a special ‘Green Stall’ signboard.
When you visit the Tsuen Wan LNY fair, remember to support stalls with Green Stall Label!

Recruiting: Shopping bags collection points
In order to promote reusing, recycling and the BYOB culture, we are collecting spare shopping bags from the public to be placed at the Shopping Bags Sharing Stations at the Tsuen Wan LNY Fair for all to use.
We are now inviting organizations and institutions to collect clean shopping bags of any kind and material (e g. non-woven fabric or nylon). We will provide an A3-sized poster (left) to be placed at the point of collection. Participating organizations will receive an E-certificate of Appreciation.
Collection period: 8th – 19th Jan 2018
We are collecting collected bags on: 22nd -26th Jan 2018

Green LNY Fair Ambassadors
The LNY Fair each year produces a large amount of waste, some of which are very large-sized (e.g. tents, racks, tables and chairs). Not only are a lot of reusable things wasted, but increased stress is also put on the city’s landfills. Therefore, we need your help to promote waste reduction, clean recycling and resources sharing and encourage the public to act greener. We cannot achieve our aim without your help.
環境運動委員會（環運會）、環境保護署（環保署） 聯同環保觸覺（本會）正籌備《環運會綠祿無窮在年宵（荃灣）》，在2018年荃灣年宵進行一系列回收減廢活動，並由本會負責執行。希望荃灣區市民及商戶可以積極參與，過一個綠祿無窮的新年！

除了即場於荃灣沙咀道球場供市民免費領取。年宵清場後，其餘物資會運送至「綠在沙田 」。
