The LNY Fair each year produces a large amount of waste, some of which are very large-sized (e.g. tents, racks, tables and chairs). Not only are a lot of reusable things wasted, but increased stress is also put on the city’s landfills. Therefore, we are implementing a series of waste management and recycling measures at the Tsuen Wan LNY Fair this year to promote waste reduction, clean recycling and resources sharing and encourage the public to act greener. We cannot achieve our aim without the help of volunteers.
